Know Your Rights: What to Do if ICE Comes to Your Workplace (Virtual Training)

Presented by Business For Good, San Diego County Office of Labor & Standards Enforcement (OLSE), and City Heights CDC

Watch the recording of our December 2025 workshop to hear the rights and responsibilities for employers during Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enforcement actions. ICE actions include I-9 audits and workplace visits, sometimes referred to as “raids,” which are often unannounced, with the intention of identifying and detaining undocumented workers. Staying calm, informed, and prepared helps protect both employers and workers.

Whether you’re a business owner, worker, or community member who wants to stay informed, you’ll learn important information about what can be done before, during, and after enforcement actions to help maintain safe, compliant workplaces.

Additionally, you’ll learn about your rights and responsibilities as an employer, and employees will get information about how to plan in advance to protect their home, car, valuables, etc. in the event of being detained or deported.
